The TX-MEX allows you to keep track of your teamates arrival with the microwave burritos while staying off of the communication grid. Mesh network device ready to connect to an EUD. No longer do you need for a server to see all members on ATAK and communicate within the application. Or simply use Meshtastic simple messaging.
See your team, send data packages, sync markers, and send messages all completley off grid. No internet, service, or ham license required.
IMPORTANT: NODES CAN ONLY CONNECT TO ONE EUD AT A TIME
If you are looking for a team of 4, you need 4 nodes to connect to each members EUD
Utilizing a premium board for mesh nodes. Chipset has onboard BT, WiFi, GPS/GNSS and smart power management for reduced consumption and longer battery life.
Powered by a 3.7V 3000mah battery. Charge via USB-C
SMA connector for antenna changes if desired. 915 MHz / US LoRa
Printed Case is ASA. High impact resistance. Intense UV and Heat resistance ensures it will hold up to natures gauntlet. Much more suitable for outdoors than PETG used in simalarly priced nodes.
Connect via Meshtastic app. Reccomend creating second secure channel with encryption via app and sharing to all users via the QR code.
Every unit will be flashed with the most up-to-date stable firmware version, because nobody likes updating their brand new product. (No need to connect to your computer, just set up in the app)
Range, like all radios, is terrain and miro terrain dependant, however, most use cases will yeild at least 1-3 miles. Repeaters or other nodes extend the network range via hops.
Can be used as a repeater node, however this device is not a solar powered node, thus cannot act as a leave in place repeater for long periods of time unless plugged into a solar charger or other large power bank.
***Note that iPhones / ITAK do not interface directly with the meshtastic network. Please research work arounds or options if you plan to use an apple EUD

If you are new to meshtastic, it can be a little overwhelming. Below are some resources and tips to help you out.
Reccomend creating private encrypted channel
To avoid conflict or issues, it is best to use one device to share info with all others in group if possible.
If using as a "repeater" node, its best to leave device type as "Client" unless your specific use case requires or would benefit from a dedicated router or repeater type node. Here is why
2.25" Wide
1" Depth
3.25" Tall (8.5" total with antenna)
